Warranty and Returns

We at eWheels continually strive to offer our Customers the best in cutting edge Personal Electric Vehicles with the best overall choice, value, service, & the assurance we’ll be here to support you. As in life, there may be problems or mishaps, our overarching mission is the principle of Fair Dealings for our Customers.

The warranty covers this product for one year from the date of purchase and includes the battery pack.  This warranty is limited to what is defined as “normal use” of the product; examples of activities or uses that would void the warranty include: exceeding the weight and/or speed limits (check individual model specifications as weight and speed limits differ); impacts resulting from collision, dropping, or improper use; attempts to disassemble, modify, or repair the Wheel.

If the product is dead-on-arrival, for domestic purchases we will cover the shipping costs for returning it back us. International Customers will need to pay for the return shipping. For other warranty related repairs, we may ask the Customer to cover the shipping charges to & from our repair center in Tuscon, Arizona. For International Customers, because of the high shipping costs for warranty related spare parts, you may need to cover these costs.

While the products are designed with water protection in mind, they are not intended to be ridden in heavy precipitation or standing water above 2 inches high.

Consumables such as tires and inner tubes are outside of the scope of the warranty.  eWheels stocks a wide variety of parts such as tires and inner tubes, batteries, control boards, chargers, and other components in the U.S.  We can repair or replace faulty parts that fall outside of the warranty at an additional charge.

Returns Policy
Purchases may be returned within 14 days of delivery.  In order to receive a refund, you must contact us at info@ewheels.com to receive an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number.  The eWheel must be unopened, returned in its original packaging and condition.  A refund will be processed within 2 business days of receiving the returned Wheel. The Buyer must pay the shipping & handling costs for both the outbound & return shipment. We do not accept returns on used products & there may be a 10% restocking fee on returned items, depending on the sitution.

In the event that you receive a defective eWheel, please contact support@ewheels.com.  Typically repairs are carried out in a couple days. If it does take longer, we will keep you updated with the status throughout the process.

When parts are available in limited supply, we may reserve these for our Customers. Please be advised that if you are ordering a part that we’re running low on, we may be forced to cancel the order if your Wheel/Scooter has been sourced from a third party. Having access to parts & accessories is one of the perks of being an eWheels Customers. 

We’ve worked hard to provide the most competitive shipping rates for our customers with FedEx.  Rates vary depending upon distance from our distribution center from Los Angeles, California & the shipping option you select at checkout.  Within 1 business day of your purchase, you will be provided with a tracking number for your package.

If you are importing an eWheel into another country, such as Canada, you may be charged sales taxes & other handling fees by the courier. It is the Customer’s responsibility to pay these import duties.
