What a Scooter

Have had my Speedway Mini IV Pro for over a week. I just took it out of box made some settings changes and was off on my way. I am using 80% power gear 2 only and 50% regeneration on the braking. The scooter has a load of power. I have been riding it to/from my train which is 1.5 miles away one way. I finally ran it under 40 volts (the LCD readout flashes oh so bright) at 15 mph. I am finally charging it for the first time. Here are the use stats: Rode 20 miles, Battery power was reading 46% at 15 mph and 4o volts. I am carrying 20 lbs of stuff in my backpack and I am pushing the upper limit of the weight spectrum. I run up one hill both ways at ~6% grade and it has keep up with my set speed. I ride at 18 MPH both ways using cruise control and Love that feature. Scooter also fits nicely under certain seats on the train so it is safe and out of the way of peoples feet. Since I can get a bit early to the train I use the scooter as my barbell at the train station and do curls, dead man lifts, overhead presses and lunges while holding the Scooter. It makes for a great 15 minute workout before loading on the train. SO no with the review Pros: Love the cruise control, however 7 seconds seems to go by too slow, Great Power even off the line in n on kick mode, I have not explored 1st or 3rd gear yet. It turns nice and runs on road well except when it is very bad road conditions. It folds easily and I have figured out where to carry it from. Cons: Power has cut out mid run a few times. It stumbles so if your not ready for it it will lurch you a bit forward. Not sure if this is a throttle issue or what. I would love it if the base was about 6″ longer. I give this a 5 out of 5 stars and have added it to my non ICE vehicles. Between it and my bike I can do most of my commuting without driving. I wonder what the next model will offer over this one…
